If you’re looking for a quick and easy DIY craft to do with the kids this Halloween, look no further than these stamped trick-or-treat candy bags! The process is super simple and the end product is something you can use for years to come.
DIY Stamped Trick-or-Treat Candy Bags
All you need is a tote bag (we chose black to amp up the spookiness), pigment ink and your favorite Halloween stamps. RubberStamps.com has a variety of designs to choose from, including bats, jack o’ lanterns, a “No Tricks Just Treats” phrase and a “Trick or Treat 100% Spooky” phrase.
Ink up your stamp and press firmly on the bag. We stamped the impressions in different colored inks to provide dimension to the design.
If you’re feeling extra festive, try using glow-in-the-dark fabric paint instead of ink to give your bag an eerie shine at night. Our glowing bag pictures didn’t do the real thing justice, but trust us – it’s extra ghostly!
Happy (spooky) stamping!
Pro tip: For a personalized touch, your child can even stamp his or name with some letter stamps -- the possibilities are endless!
