Thanksgiving means food, food means tablescapes, tablescapes mean…stamps?
A Thanksgiving Tablescape with Stamps
There are a billion and one ways to incorporate stamps into your holiday table setting, from place cards, to table runners, to silverware sleeves and more. With just a few simple touches, you can turn a Thanksgiving tablescape from blah to brilliant.
Table Runner
A stamped table runner is the easiest way to enhance your tablescape in a big way. All you need is a strip of craft paper or burlap, some ink and your favorite festive stamps. We used a variety of leaf designs for a fresh fall appearance. Check out our Birch Leaf Stamp, Hickory Leaf Stamp, Maple Leaf Stamp, and Oak Leaf Stamp to copy our look.
Silverware Sleeves
Keep silverware neat and organized with a simple sleeve. We fashioned two pieces of cardstock paper together and stamped our Gratitude Quote Stamp on top. To give it some extra sparkle, we used glittery gold embossing powder.
Napkins
Give plain, boring napkins an immediate make-over just by stamping a quick impression on them. We choose to stamp our Wine Pie Repeat Stamp with white pigment ink on an orange napkin. Such an easy thing makes a huge difference on your Thanksgiving dinner table.
Place Cards
Amp up your place card game this year by using a stamp to create them! We used our Give Thanks Place Card Stamp and some gold embossing powder to make these adorable leaf-shaped name tags. Then we punched a hole by the stem and attached the leaf to a mini pumpkin with some twine. The end product also doubles as a festive custom party favor!
Hosting an impressive Thanksgiving party doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. With just a few embellishments here and there, you can create a beautiful tablescape that your guests will be talking about for years to come.
