We were thrilled to get the chance to speak with Janella Mae Brady of Mae Brady Art Studio and talk about her incredible art and how our stamps have helped her in branding her business!

I’m Mae Brady, the artist behind Mae Brady Art Studio. I am originally from the Philippines and I moved here to the USA four years ago. I’m pursuing my passion, doing what I love and a lot of it!

My specialty is in creating lighted shadow boxes that are made of many layers and lights to create a 3-D effect. Many of my works include architectural and natural landmarks. I also love to create gold foil portraits of people, pets, sonograms, and sound waves. Although I have been doing art my whole life I first started Mae Brady Art Studio in 2020!

In 2020 during the pandemic I found myself at home a lot like many others but I still wanted to be productive. I had a lot of projects but really found my niche when I started making nativity shadow boxes for Christmas. They were a big success and I expanded into other shadow box designs from there!

I love architecture and nature. Because shadow boxes are a 3D artform it makes my art feel like a reconstruction or model of the real placement for, and I really like that. A lot of my artwork is of places that have special meaning for people and I love to capture that feeling and beauty! I hope my art helps people feel that same way every time they look at it.

I really love my lighted shadow boxes! It's definitely a unique art form. My designs are clean and minimalist, but my lighted boxes can also be very eye-catching when it is dark and the lights are turned on.

Calligraphy was one of the first art Forms that I really practiced a lot and still love to do. I don't use calligraphy in all of my work but I still love it and use it on gift tags for my orders. I did the calligraphy in my logo myself and added stars to represent the way my creations twinkle and light up!

I used it to handwrite my logo and my social networks on the back of each of my products which took a lot of time. Using my stamps is so much quicker and looks great. I am using my stamps for much of my small business branding such as bags and packaging. I also have QR code stamps that can be scanned. They all look very clean and professional!

Rubber stamps are consistent, clean, efficient and easy to use! Stamping is also therapeutic and fun!
